More woe for Stewart. Match report 7.11.06

Match day report 7.11.06.

Colours: Stewart, Bob, John, Jamie, Simon, Tony, Shane, Al

Yellows: Rupert, Badge, Mark, Rob, Steve, Paul B, Scott, Geoff

Score Colours 2 5 Yellows

The yellows got off to a blazing start and were 3 nil up within the first 15/20 minutes. It appeared at this point that the yellows were going to run away with it. However the colours came more into the game and Bobby, Stewart and Jamie were dominating the ball. The colours scored 2 goals to reduce the deficit and their tails were up.

The turning point came when Steve Colmer made a brave save from Bobby, which would have levelled the scores. OK so he jumped to get out of the way and the ball hit his foot!

After this point the colours took over again firing in 2 more goals to give the score an uneven look. Alan desperately tried to cheat the score, but the result still stood leaving Stewart to rue his teams missed chances.

On a more serious note: After the game finnished Steve announced that Norman had lost his 4 month old daughter to illness. Are thoughts are with him at this time. Steve suggested that players could bring a donation next week.
