NO RESULT IN MONSOON

Well done to the lads who turned up in sometimes monsoon conditions, while the prawn sandwich brigade watched England under 12's beat the Cayman Islands.
I decided not to bother with a match report as the numbers were so low (6 a side, but Bob left with an injury during the game). It was not a game for the football purists as there was not a lot of passing and moving, just a lot of individuals running past slow people like me. For anyone interested it was 11 all, with an outstanding display in goal by Paul P's son, who threw himself around. Stewart commented on the fact that he is the best goal keeper that he has seen on a Tuesday night - cheeky git.
There was an element of winding Stewart up with the score line, you know who you are. Hopefully the prawn boys will return next week as there has been two low turn out weeks.
