Score Colours 5-8 Yellows

Tuesday's seems to go from the sublime to the ridiculous with the last 2 weeks being extremely low in numbers and this week we all seemed to respond to Tom's rallying call and turn up.

With not a lot of space available on the park the touch had to be assured and the passing crisp, ok the ball was lost on several occasions and it became scrappy at times. However the Yellows did play the better football and put together some great neat one touch passing, that often ended in a goal for them, in fact at times the Colours had to stand and applaud, or trip them up.

Rich particularly played well and was instrumental in a lot of the goals scored, he was unlucky not to score with a solo effort at the end, which would have capped his evening off.

The Colours tried their best with Mark GM scoring a hatrick and working his socks off for the team. In fact the Colours did well to stay in the game because at 4-1 it seemed that it was going to be one of those long Saints evenings as they watch the goals go in.

However the turning point was when the score was 5-4 to the Yellows and the Colours had about 4 chances to put the ball in but somehow it stayed out. Soon after this the Yellows went up the other end and scored, putting the game to bed, goals in the final seconds just added insult to injury.

Man of the Match: This week goes to Rich, who keeps turning out solid performances and this week was no different with some good chances and one of the reasons the Yellows won the match.
